+# Architect — F-030 E2E suite for critical flows
+
+## Summary
+F-030 adds end-to-end tests exercising critical customer flows: catalog browse → add to cart → checkout → order paid. Tests run against a real PostgreSQL instance using the existing test harness pattern.
+
+## Design
+

+
+### Approach
+- Reuse `db-test-support.ts` helpers and `buildApp`.
+- Seed minimal catalog data (brand, category, product, variants, prices, inventory).
+- Simulate a real customer: browse → cart → checkout → assert order created and payment intent returned.
+
+## Acceptance trace
+- AC1: checkout flow test passes end-to-end with seeded data.
+- AC2: catalog browse test returns products filtered by category.
+- AC3: failure path returns 422 for empty cart on checkout.
+
