DNS Flush Runbook

Symptoms

  • DNS resolutions return stale IPs.
  • Users report that a site "works on some machines and not on others".
  • Recent DNS changes are not propagating.

Diagnosis

  1. Check the local cache with ipconfig /displaydns or resolvectl statistics.
  2. Confirm the upstream resolver is responding.
  3. Run the dns-flush webhook on the affected machine.
